Net Purchases on VAT return wrong... Help/Advice please

Hi everybody

I submitted a VAT return earlier and afterwards realised that the Net Purchases figure has been overstated, it has no effect on the amount of VAT reclaimed, but I can't seem to find anywhere on HMRC to tell me what needs to be done about it, HMRC only seem to give information on adjustments to the actual amount paid or reclaimed. Does anyone know if I can just make an adjustment for it in the following quarter?
