My friend, based in Scotland, initially received a grant from Business Gateway to start up his business.
A few months later domestic problems made it impossible to continue the business and has had to put it on hold.
He wants to start up again, but needs help with finance. He approached Business Gateway, but was told as he had already been established he would not qualify for another grant.
Is anyone aware of any other schemes in Scotland where he might be able to obtain finance grants?
